Mr. Sampson Appiah-Math Clinic Coordinator
Sampson holds Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, a 3-Year Diploma in Basic Education and a 3-Year Post Secondary Teachers’ Certificate ‘A’. He is Curriculum Leader for St. Mary’s Anglican Basic School and has considerable experience in teaching Math and English Language. Sampson believes that everybody can learn math if teaching and learning math is done practically, multisensory and from concrete to abstract. He facilitates CLED’s Math Clinic and training for teachers as well as mentoring volunteers.
Mr. Anthony Mensah – Reading and Parents Volunteer
Mr. Mensah is Special Education Resource Teacher and holds Bachelor of Education in Special Education as well as Physical Education. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Philosophy in Special Education at University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. Mr. Mensah has been volunteering with CLED to assist in organizing, counseling and training parents. He facilitates CLED’s Reading Clinic and Parent Self- help group at Kasoa-Opeikuma.
Ms. Portia Mensah – Finance Volunteer
Portia is the financial secretary for Christ Apostolic Church International, Ofaakor Circuit and the youth president. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Economics and teaches economics at Insaaniyya Senior High School at Kasoa in the central region of Ghana.
Sethina Adwoa Wayo-Activity Assistant
Adwoa is a Senior High Home Economics Graduate. She has been trained to assist with screening and supporting girls with learning disabilities.
Esther Arthur – Finance Assistant
Esther has Bachelor of Science (BSc) Accounting with first class honours from Kwame Nkrumah’ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana.
She is currently the finance officer at SMSGH Solutions Limited, Ghana. Esther is a part-time finance volunteer with CLED helping in book keeping and financial reporting.
