CLED offers assessment, diagnosis, intervention and advocacy for learners –who may have dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, Irlen syndrome, ADHD, and related disorders.
We provide ecological assessments and evaluations aimed at knowing and understanding the learner’s background. If necessary, we visit and assess our client’s schools, workplace, and/or home environment, observing their daily activities in addition to conducting individualized testing.
We do this in collaboration with hospitals, WATBORG Eye Services and Special Education Department of University Education, Winneba Ghana and international partners.
These services include:
- Baseline testing for students already showing suspected signs of dyslexia, dyscalculia, Irlen Syndrome, dysgraphia, ADHD and other disabilities
- Diagnostic screenings to identify specific area of learning difficulties or attention issue;
- A full educational assessment to provide a full picture of a child’s needs and learning style.
- Guidance and Counseling for families and carers responsible for the education, development, and care of children
Most of our assessments and consultations are for primary –Junior High school students, but, in some cases, we help young people with intellectual and other disabilities.
